LaFerney Commercial Roofing Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 13, 2026

LaFerney Commercial Roofing (“LaFerney,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect on laferney.com (the “Site”), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. We serve commercial property owners and managers in Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, and West Virginia. The Site is intended for business use.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Give Us

When you submit a contact, quote request, scheduling, or employment application form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, property or mailing address, project details, and anything else you enter, including resume and work history for job applicants.

If you start filling out a form on our Site and leave without submitting it, our visitor-identification service (ZoomInfo) may capture what you typed, such as your name, email address, and phone number, so we can follow up.

B. Information Collected Automatically

Cookies and similar technologies collect your IP address and approximate location, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on each page, referring website, and the date and time of your visit.

C. Information From Other Sources

We use ZoomInfo’s visitor-identification service (WebSights), which may match your visit to a business and add business information it already holds, such as company name, industry, and business contact details. We may also receive information from our advertising and analytics providers.

2. Services We Use

  • Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager: measure Site traffic and manage tags. Data is pseudonymous, not anonymous. See policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Google Ads: measure and improve our advertising, including remarketing. See policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Meta Pixel: measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram. See facebook.com/privacy/policy.
  • ZoomInfo: identify which businesses visit the Site, capture information typed into forms before submission, and support sales outreach. See zoominfo.com/legal/privacy-policy.
  • Google Maps: display our service territory map. See policies.google.com/privacy.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to respond to inquiries and quote requests; schedule service; evaluate job applicants; communicate about your project; improve the Site; measure and improve our advertising; identify businesses that may need our services and follow up with relevant information, including by email or phone using sales tools such as Salesloft; comply with the law; and protect the security of the Site.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your information for money. However, some of the tools listed above (advertising and visitor-identification technologies) may share information about your visit with third parties in ways that some state laws call a “sale” or “sharing” for targeted advertising. You can opt out using the “Do not sell or share my personal information” option in our cookie banner, or by emailing marketing@laferney.com.

We also share information with service providers who work for us under contract, when required by law, and in a merger or sale of the business.

5. Cookies

See our Cookie Policy for the categories of cookies we use and how to control them.

6. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to confirm whether we process your personal information and access it; correct it; delete it; receive a copy in a portable format; and opt out of targeted advertising, the sale or sharing of personal information, and profiling. We do not use your information to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

To make a request, email marketing@laferney.com or call 800-633-3119. We may need to verify your identity. We respond within 45 days, and if we need more time we will tell you why. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response with the word “Appeal,” and we will answer within 60 days. If you are still not satisfied, you may contact your state attorney general. We will not treat you unfairly for exercising these rights.

7. Data Retention

Form submissions and inquiry records are typically kept for three years. Employment applications are kept for one year after the position is filled. Advertising and analytics cookie data is kept according to each provider’s settings, generally no longer than 26 months.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including SSL encryption and secure storage of form submissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site links to manufacturers, industry groups, and social media. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
