Our roof evaluation begins with a physical inspection of the facility. After the evaluation is complete, we are able to determine whether or not your roof can be repaired or needs replacement. We take core-cut samples of the roof, inspect all major details, such as flashings, scuppers, parapet walls, and penetrations. During the evaluation process, we also take numerous pictures of all details for further examination by our team. LaFerney will address any major concerns. All restoration methods will be discussed which could include repairs, recovery, or replacement to existing flashings, penetrations, or other components causing leaks within the roof. Our findings are summarized in recommended courses of action, with long-term budget forecasting and planning suggestions that facilitate the development of cost effective solutions. Together we will review all the details of the particular building and make the best decision based upon your situation.

  STEP TWO, CORE CUT SAMPLE
A core cut is taken to reveal the existing condition of your roof.  By taking a core cut, we can clearly see if water has penetrated the membrane and spread throughout much of your roof area. This also helps determine if your leak is isolated to a specific area or your roof needs replacement.
